USB Webcam on Chromebook Not Working
If your USB webcam is not being recognized by Stop Motion Studio on your Chromebook, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Configure Camera Settings
- Open Settings
- Click on the settings icon in the upper right corner of your Google Chrome browser.
- Access Privacy Settings
- Go to Privacy and security.
- Open Site Settings
- Select Site settings.
- Adjust Camera Settings
- Find and click on Camera.
- Ensure that the External camera is selected. If the camera is not listed, you may need to try a different USB port.
2. Restart Stop Motion Studio
- Exit the Camera App
- Close any other camera applications that might be using the webcam.
- Restart Stop Motion Studio
- Relaunch Stop Motion Studio to see if it now recognizes the camera.
